Smith Society Staff
Lydia Pitea is the director of the Adam Smith Society at the Manhattan Institute where she oversees strategy and programming for Smith Soc's MBA chapters and professional members. Previously, Lydia worked for DonorsTrust as the Director of the Novus Society, a program dedicated to building up the next generation of philanthropists. Lydia is a graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she received her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Political Science.
Karl Abramson is a program officer of the Adam Smith Society at the Manhattan Institute, where he focuses on strategy and programming for SmithSoc’s MBA chapters. Prior to joining the Manhattan Institute, he worked in policy research roles for a charter school network in New York City and a nonprofit taxpayer advocacy group. Karl received his B.A. from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Trinity Gipson is the Program & Events Officer of the Manhattan Institute's Adam Smith Society where she focuses on event planning, donor engagement, and assisting with programming efforts. Trinity has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Public Administration from Texas A&M University.
